Overview

The Project Manager, Heat & Energy supports the development and execution of Foot Locker’s most culturally relevant programs and brand moments. In partnership with the Senior Manager and Director of Energy, this role helps translate cultural insights, product stories, and community trends into impactful marketing programs. The Project Manager collaborates cross-functionally across merchandising, creative, social, digital, and retail teams to ensure seamless delivery, while directly managing program timelines, briefs, and executional details.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, culturally connected marketer who can balance creative thinking with operational precision.

Responsibilities

Program Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

·  Support the development and delivery of Heat & Energy programs aligned to brand priorities and cultural opportunities.
·  Coordinate with merchandising, creative, social, digital, retail, and integrated marketing teams to ensure clarity of roles, timelines, and deliverables.
·  Manage program workflows, schedules, and production needs to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
·  Track and escalate risks, removing barriers in partnership with the Senior Manager to maintain seamless program flow.

Ideation, Briefing & Storytelling

·  Partner in building strategic and creative briefs based on product, consumer, and cultural insights.
·  Ensure program storytelling is consistent with brand voice and aligned across social, digital, retail, and experiential channels.
·  Monitor performance metrics and contribute insights to improve future programming.
·  Stay current on sneaker culture, creators, and marketplace trends to help identify new opportunities for culturally relevant moments.

Relationship Management

·  Maintain strong communication with key internal partners to ensure visibility and alignment across workstreams.
·  Manage relationships with creators, influencers, and external partners as needed to support program execution.
·  Support the Senior Manager in preparing updates, recaps, and performance reports for Marketing leadership.

Team Support & Development

·  Operate as a collaborative partner with the Senior Manager, providing support, operational clarity, and proactive problem-solving.
·  Contribute to a positive, creative, and growth-oriented team culture across the Energy marketing group.
Qualifications

Required

·  3–5+ years of experience in brand marketing, cultural marketing, lifestyle marketing, or integrated marketing, ideally within footwear, streetwear, sports, or youth culture industries.
·  Demonstrated experience supporting the execution of culturally driven or earned-media moments at a brand or agency.
·  Strong understanding of sneaker culture, creators, and community trends, with the ability to identify what drives cultural resonance.
·  Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across creative, merchandising, digital, and retail.
·  Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear briefs and program recaps.
·  Experience working with creators, influencers, or cultural partners.
·  Comfortable analyzing program results and supporting KPI tracking.

Preferred

·  Experience in a retail, consumer brand, lifestyle, or youth‑culture-focused environment.
·  Familiarity with integrated marketing channels, including social, digital, retail, and experiential.
·  Basic experience managing or overseeing agency or production partners.

Benefits

The annual base salary is $85000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
