Foot Locker is searching for a passionate and motivated Assistant Manager to support the Talent Management team. The Assistant Manager will partner with the Talent Management and global HR business partners to assist in the execution of the people and talent strategies and digital enablement of the team.
The Assistant Manager of Talent Management will serve as an in-house resource on talent management practices, content, systems and technology, and recommend actions to partners. We're looking for an individual who has the ability to evaluate situations, leverage data to draw appropriate conclusions, and implement practical and technology-led solutions. The Assistant Manager will build and maintain programs to upskill the workforce with capabilities, skills and knowledge to enhance current and future performance, including developing well-rounded, purpose-driven leaders at all levels.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the execution of the global people processes (including goal setting, succession planning, performance management, development planning, etc.).
· Partner with the HRIS team to effectively leverage SuccessFactors as part of the global people processes (such as setup, maintenance, release enhancements, training of tool, reporting and ad-hoc requests).
· Provide and drive program support to fuel the growth, development and career pathing of Non-Store and Store Team Members.
· Drive digital enablement of the talent team including maintaining and evolving the team’s SharePoint site and leveraging technology to drive efficiencies and performance.
· Support coordination of targeted development opportunities including the preparation of materials, presentations, and execution of logistics.
· Analyze, evaluate, interpret, and report on talent relevant quantitative and qualitative metrics, as well as the ROI of talent management interventions.
· Research best practices in industry leading leadership development programs.
· Distill large amounts of information and data from multiple sources (i.e. SAP, Peoplesoft, Surveys, etc.) into meaningful conclusions, and prepare thoughtful, accurate, and detailed summaries of those conclusions.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Organization Psychology HR, Learning & Development, Business, or related field (a master’s degree is a plus).
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, Talent Management, or a similar function.
· Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Experience with the development and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint
· Demonstrate proven experience in managing multiple priorities and projects with cross-functional partners and senior leaders
· Project/Program Manager experience is a plus
· Must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
· High degree of commitment to maintain confidentiality is required.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and use of data to “tell a story” is required.
· Previous experience with SAP Success Factors and PeopleSoft is a plus

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $68,000 - $80,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
