Overview

This hybrid position will be located at our New York office. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

The Administrative Assistant, Human Resources provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the HR Leadership Team. This role is responsible for managing calendars, travel, expenses, and day-to-day administrative needs, while also supporting in-office events and ad hoc initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Administrative and Executive Support

·  Provide administrative support to members of the HR Leadership Team, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and preparation of materials
·  Manage complex calendars across multiple leaders, ensuring efficient use of time and proactive conflict resolution
·  Coordinate logistics for meetings, presentations, and leadership forums, both virtual and in person

Travel and Expense Management

·  Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries
·  Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies
·  Track and follow up on outstanding expenses and reimbursements as needed

Office and Event Support

·  Support on-site HR events, meetings, and initiatives, including room reservations, catering, materials, and day-of coordination
·  Serve as a point of contact for in-office logistics related to the HR team
·  Assist with planning and execution of ad hoc events, such as onboarding sessions, leadership meetings, offsites, or recognition activities

Operational and Ad Hoc Support

·  Assist with general HR administrative tasks as needed, such as document preparation, data tracking, and file maintenance
·  Support special projects and ad hoc requests from HR leadership
·  Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve team efficiency

Qualifications

·  2+ years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, ideally supporting senior leaders
·  Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with expense and travel tools preferred
·  Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
·  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
·  Professional judgment and discretion
·  Strong follow-through and reliability
·  Collaborative, service-oriented approach
·  Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred

·  Experience supporting HR or People teams
·  Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
·  Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve independently

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $70,000-$80,000, this range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
