Role Purpose

This role will be responsible for Danone’s RGM strategy for the Yoghurts category covering both the UK & Irish markets. Providing key insights and recommendations across all RGM levers, by leveraging data analytics and translating them into opportunities to maximise top-line growth and profitability.​

Pack Price Architecture 

·  Drives value for Danone, our customers and shoppers through making insight led recommendations on our pack and pricing strategy across all Danone brands to optimize OBPPC (Occasion, Brand, Pack, Price and Channel)​

Mix & Portfolio Management

·  Identify and leverage opportunities to optimize our mix by pack/channel/customer, to drive profitable growth for Danone & customers​

Trade Terms

·  Works in partnership with the customer teams to create value for Danone, customers and shoppers through optimizing our trade terms investment ​
·  Uses the trade terms assessment/tool and outlines key opportunities and targets – driving improvements in trade terms ROI to create value for us and the trade​

Promotional Effectiveness

·  Work in partnership with the sales and marketing teams to create value for Danone, customers and shoppers through optimizing the effectiveness of our promotions​
·  Builds and maintains a clear dashboard reflecting our key promotional targets​
·  Empowers the customer teams to utilize tools to achieve and exceed their targets, ensuring we run the optimal promo plan​

Strategy

·  Leading the creation and management of the key RGM levers in the category, ensuring they are driving profitable growth for Danone and our retailers ​
·  Deep understanding of our channel/ customer/sku mix to provide insight-led pack and pricing guidelines by channel​
·  Engaging and empowering the customer/ marketing teams on the above roadmap to maximise ROI on total portfolio ​
·  Responsible for setting the Price/Promo strategy and Trade Spend assumptions for all key innovation in the category​

Team Engagement & Development

·  Ensures we inspire customer & marketing teams to deliver across all RGM levers​
·  Development of RGM team and x-functional colleagues through coaching, building capabilities and fostering a RGM mindset ​
·  Delivery management through setting inspiring plans for activities and desired outcomes, engages the team on the ‘why’ of each project and coaching on the day-to-day challenges

About you:

Leadership

·  A self starter who is passionate about finding growth opportunities ​
·  Proven track record of strategic thinking across functions and value creation​
·  Thinks beyond own scope and take in the wider business needs when making decisions​
·  Balances between the operational day to day and the long-term strategic thinking​
·  Manages a broad network internally and externally to support delivery, adapting style accordingly​

Functional

·  Experience of driving profitable growth initiatives across different revenue levers as part of a RGM/Commercial strategy function​
·  Proven track record of exceptional business commercial value creation​
·  Ability to influence others, building compelling narratives & recommendations from complex data ​
·  Deep understanding of the full impact through the P&L of the topline investment choices ​
·  High level of commercial acumen, ideally with experience in important customer management roles

 

Please note the salary on offer for this position is between £70,000 - £80,000 plus bonuses & benefits
