This is a Buyer position part of the Cycles & Procurement Directs team that operates for the WWBU for all Danone divisions in close relation with the CBU teams, R&D, Quality, Marketing and Operations teams of all divisions, as well as with the other SSD category teams.

·  The spend to be managed in this position is over 100 Million Euro across different divisions, countries and 44 plants in Europe.
·  Corrugated portfolio represents all corrugated paper based packaging in Danone (shelf-ready and shipping trays, american boxes, wrap arounds, interlayers, etc).
·  Complexity of this category is driven by the inhomogeneous portfolio: high number of SKUs, different paper specifications and designs; and a big number of internal stakeholders to manage and align with.

About the role:

Main responsibilities in the role:

·  Build and Implement Category Strategy and Roadmap
·  Drive portfolio harmonization & simplification in alignment with CBUs, Quality, Operations and R&D
·  Drive key category programs & projects in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
·  Supplier negotiations, benchmarking and tenders to ensure cost competitiveness
·  Supplier Relationship Management
·  Internal Stakeholder engagement
·  Build a Strong Productivity pipeline
·  Accountable for maintaining market expertise, category hypothesis construction (including Price revision mechanism), reporting price forecasts, productivity and market inflation in the budget process

About you:

·  Higher Education / Business school Technical, Business or Engineering
·  Strong knowledge of Purchasing
·  Overall around 3 years' previous experience in Procurement.
·  Exposure to multi-cultural environment in sourcing or the supply chain.
·  Analytically minded and methodical problem solver
·  Strong communication skills
·  Experience working within a multi-cultural environment
·  Fluent in English as a must
