Product Optimization Manager

(Full time; Location: Bucharest)

 

As Product Optimization Manager (POM) you are reporting to the S&C Platform Manager located in Germany. As POM you will be dealing with projects such as sourcing, productivity, duplications and new supplier introductions. In this role your main responsibilities are:

 

Act as the plant single point of contact for Supply Chain, R&I & Quality

·  Provide technical & technological expertise to Supply Chain & R&I about industrial pre-feasibility from define phase for all projects (innovation, renovation, productivity, sourcing)
·  Work closely with factory and project team to ensure overall Quality of execution and SQCDMN performance indicators for the projects are set and met
·  Support the post-launch project review at factory level and ensure that key findings are embedded in future projects for the factory & EU through R&I/Sourcing & COVI/POM network. Contribute to the definition of standards for the project execution in EU

 

Owner of Industrial Trial management

·  Build with R&I the feasibility answer of Industrial test request according the factory capability
·  Schedule, Organize & Optimize all industrial tests & new product start-ups
·  Realize in fully autonomy all Industrial Tests for duplication projects and/or small productivity improvement initiatives

 

Owner of Homologation process

·  Assess & build with R&I the feasibility answer of project briefs leading too new, modification and/or duplication of Raws & Packs specifications versus factory capability. Within this framework, propose & support the best recommendations leading to the right match between the R&P specifications and the industrial capability
·  Act as factory owner of homologation process according homologation standards, Lead locally stage-gate homologation process at factory level; master total value chain for materials of the factory
·  Lead locally & execute duplication projects according RACI between all stakeholders (Supply Chain, Quality, R&I, and Resources Efficiency)

 

Owner of the plant compliance to standards & specifications

·  Accountable of consolidating, updating factory capabilities and Factory catalogue (R&P, finished products, process & technology) & its optimization (simplification)
·  Ensure that finished products variability are compliant with targeted specifications
·  Contribute to the process of BOMs management at factory level

 

We are looking for a Product Optimization Manager with the following profile:

·  Relevant university degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in factory environment (can be from packaging, performance and/or other technical roles)
·  Fluency in English and Romanian is a must
·  Communicative and structured personality
