Join our customer services team to ensure that patients and carers get the supplies and service they need, and get treated like the special people they are.

We are looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our team here at Nutricia in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity to join a company that really cares! We have both full and part time hours available.

Nutricia provides specialised medical food and equipment for patients that have been discharged from hospital and are fed at home through tubes into their stomachs. It can be a daunting experience both for patients and their carers, so our wonderful Homeward Customer Services team supports them by ensuring that they have the right amount of food and equipment delivered at the right time, and responding to their different questions. The Homeward team also work with healthcare professionals and our national team of Homeward nurses, to ensure our patients are well cared for.

So, what does a Patient Co-ordinator do? Well, key responsibilities include:

·  Consistently delivering a high-quality customer service experience to patients and healthcare professionals over the telephone and via email.
·  Ensuring patient expectations are met in a timely and efficient way.

Are you up to the job?

·  You must be comfortable working on your own initiative, but also know when to escalate issues.
·  You'll need to be flexible and willing to diversify where necessary, to help the team and for your own personal development.
·  Obviously, you'll need excellent communication skills, to interact effectively with potentially vulnerable patients as well as health care professionals and key opinion leaders.
·  Finally, excellent time keeping & organisational skills are a must for this role.

What specific skills and experience will you need?

·  Customer Service experience
·  Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
·  Excellent telephone manner
·  Keyboard and IT literate
·  Ability to work well in fast-paced environment
·  Demonstrable ability to deliver results under pressure in a culture of change
·  Strong team player with a flexible approach
·  Able to demonstrate a caring and empathic nature
