About the job

·  Support the preparation of financial reports in line with local regulations and internal guidelines.
·  Assist in compiling management accounts based on IFRS standards.
·  Help with the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits.
·  Monitor and reconcile selected general ledger accounts.
·  Contribute to the completion of statutory reports (e.g. for statistical offices or national banks).
·  Participate in monthly closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
·  Help track and improve the efficiency of financial closing processes.
·  Support internal control checks and help resolve basic accounting system issues.

 
About you

·  Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Accounting and Finance or equivalent)
·  Minimum 2-3 years proven professional working experience in finance / accounting / audit
·  Proficiency in the accounting standards (IFRS), local GAAPs
·  Fluent in Czech and English (spoken and written)
·  Knowledge of specifics of FMCG environment
·  General knowledge of taxation
·  Advanced MS Excel skills
·  You are a strong and analytical person with attention to detail, a great team player who can work with many stakeholders
·  Knowledge and user experience with SAP is a plus
