I2C Team Lead – Modern Trade

Job description

The Team Lead is responsible for the entire collection process for Modern Trade AR portfolios with specific focus of maximizing cash, claim resolution, risk management and reduction of overdue.  You will lead and grow a team to deliver excellent debtors results including management of KPIs to meet DSO and Cash Targets. Manage internal stakeholder engagements (Commercial, I2C, Logistics, Finance, DBS etc) to ensure timeous resolution of issues impacting customer payments or queries.

KEY REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Qualification(s)

Matric

Credit Management or Finance Diploma

Finance degree ( or studying towards ) would be advantageous

Experience and Skills

·  7-10 Years’ experience in FMCG , National Accounts (Spar , Shoprite, PnP etc)
·  3-5  Years management experience
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Windows and MS Excel
·  SAP experience   
·  Working knowledge of complex remittances across multiple accounts
·  Ability to manage staff (timelines & workload supervision)
·  A working knowledge of credit-related policies.
·  Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint
·  Assertive and firm when necessary
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Well-developed problem-solving and analytical capabilities
·  Attention to detail
·  A developed service mindset, demonstrating initiative and a proactive nature
·  Action-oriented
