Job description

The Global Cycle & Procurement (C&P) Innovation and Partnerships Director role is pivotal in leading and driving the iconic Partner for Growth (P4G) program.

 

This program is a key enabler of Danone's Renew strategy, this strategy aims to put science and innovation at the heart of Danone with a consumer and patient-centric mindset, bring back operational and executional discipline, and deliver sustainable profitable growth.

Partner for Growth expands and strengthens Danone’s relationships with partners from across the world, including start-ups, scale-ups, corporates, and academic institutions. The program strategically seizes opportunities based on consumer trends and insights to support mutual growth, driving greater innovation and efficiencies from new product ideation to the moment it reaches consumers

 

The four pillars of the Partner for Growth program are: leveraging science and technology to drive innovation, creating precision capacity to enhance flexibility and responsiveness, improving cost competitiveness through digital technology and value chain optimization, and promoting sustainability by enhancing brand health benefits, reducing CO2 emissions, and operating responsibly with stakeholders.

 

The role is responsible for planning and executing the global innovation agenda with global categories, external parties, collaboration platforms, procurement categories and projects together with R&I, Operations, and various other functions. 

We believe for you to succeed and thrive in this role you will need to have the following functional and behavoural capabilities:

 

·  Leadership Experience:  Must have led either a global process or a functional team preferably within procurement, supply chain, or innovation management in complex environments.
·  Strategic Planning: Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, with a track record of driving innovation and growth initiatives1.
·  Project Management: Extensive experience in managing complex projects, including planning, execution, and oversight to ensure they meet scope, time, and budget requirements
·  Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&I, Operations, Marketing, and external partners1.
·  Global Experience: Experience working in a global environment, with a deep understanding of different markets and cultures1.
·  Innovation and Technology: Strong background in leveraging emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and create value
