Demand Planning Trainee

Job description
As Trainee Demand Planner your key responsibilities are:
· Understands how sales trends, promotional activity and shipment patterns will affect demand and make appropriate adjustments to forecasts;
· Runs analyses on historical data, cleans history from different activities (sales, marketing etc);
· Updates 10+ monthly metrics by running various reports and updating Excel spreadsheets;
· Interacts with Supply planning department to perform root cause analyses;
· Distribute weekly reports to team members and highlighting issues that need to be addressed;
· Maintains Demand planning masterdata (new product, new customer) and cooperates closely on this with Supply and Master Data teams;
· Performs other job-related duties as requested by management;
· Takes part in weekly/monthly meetings with different stakeholders (sales, marketing, supply planning etc.
We are looking for a Trainee Demand Planner with the following profile :
· Strong analytical skills;
· Great communicator and relationship builder;
· Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under tight deadlines;
· Commitment to building high-quality solutions;
· High level of attention to details;
· Good team player;
· Comfortable learning and working with a variety of tools (SAP IBP, QlikView, Power BI, Reporting and ad-hoc data retrieval tools);
· University degree;
· Excellent Excel skills, knowledge of SAP IBP is an advantage;
· English language, upper intermediate, both written and spoken.
