Role Purpose:
· To support the regions across all spend categories in the professional management of its suppliers and spend, through effective category management, compliance & governance to unlock value.
· To drive a smart spending mindset within the business and supporting the delivery of Danone’s Fuel for Growth program , which aims to maximise efficiencies and deliver savings through a combination of sourcing and demand management.
· This role will identify & implement local opportunities to generate savings, as well as ensuring savings initiatives are reported and reviewed to deliver sustainably to targets.
· To develop and manage relationships with budget-holders to ensure timely and effective involvement in projects and negotiations so they are conducted to maximize value on spend. This will require balancing creativity and quality of service, whilst ensuring best value and process compliance.
· To act as Procurement Excellence Champion for UKIRL Region, engaging all in role and contribution of compliance and promoting sustainable behavioral changes required to deliver, e.g., comms plans, training, team contacts, reporting, spotting risks and opportunities, process improvements etc.

Salary Bracket: £45,000 - £52,000
