We are looking for a Strategic Insights and Analytics Manager to lead our protein segment's insights and analytics efforts. This role involves developing consumer-focused strategies, identifying market opportunities, and guiding business decisions with data-driven insights. You will provide global and local teams with the insights needed for growth in the protein segment, particularly in leading the development of this space.
Mission of the role:
· Overall
Support the Senior Manager leading insights for the Protein segment by bringing consumer centricity at the heart of how the business is driven, thanks to relevant and actionable insights, strategic thinking, and strong business partnering skills.
· In particular
Drive the elevation of our portfolio in the Protein space by exploring the benefits of protein-rich yogurts and chilled desserts. Identify our competitive strengths and the best market segments to target, including brands, product types, and price tiers. Explore future opportunities in food and beverage demand spaces. Collaborate with the Analytics & Performance team to analyze market and competitor data, including adjacent categories like protein powders and shakes.
Main responsibilities & KPIs:
· Strategic Business Partnering
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies and initiatives are grounded in deep consumer and market insights.
Help land the Protein Benefit-Framework:
- partner with topline teams (marketing, category management, sales, R&I, …) across the business to build category, portfolio, and brand strategies to identify future category landscape and quantified future sources of growth rooted in strong consumer and customer insight.
- provide overall guidance for CBUs : participates in managing and engaging the SIA community on the topic, supporting local teams and fostering best practices
· Consumer and Market Insights
Conduct comprehensive category and brand audits to understand consumer needs and preference
Plan, develop and execute research plans grounded in understanding of the business challenges and opportunities to guide decision-making processes.
Monitor market trends to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide insights throughout the innovation and renovation processes, ensuring value proposition align with consumer needs.
Evaluate new products, communication and ideas to optimize the portfolio.
· Data analysis and reporting
Lead research and analytics to support category and brand strategies, identifying future growth opportunity.
Integrate and triangulate data and insight from multiple sources, bringing the outside-in, injecting/ feeding consumer insights across different areas of the business (brand, product, communication, innovation, packaging, channel, shelf …) to inform strategic decisions
Present findings to key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Reports into the Dairy SIA Senior Manager for Protein & Innovision
Interacts with Dairy Marketing Teams, Dairy R&I & Sales Teams, Global & Local SIA teams, UX teams, as well as Global Capabilities & Growth teams (IBC, Analytics, Digital)

· Education & professional experiences needed
· English and Data fluency
· Expertise (7-10 years) in Consumer Insight (fluent in qual / quant / new tech methodologies)
· Specific experience in embedding insights into the business and convincing stakeholders to drive action - translating trends & foresight, consumer & market data into actionable insight connecting the dots, making clear business recommendations utilizing best in class “story telling” and engaging communication
· Managerial competencies and personal skills needed
· Ability to show critical thinking, ask power questions and challenge constructively to bring clarity to the organization on critical business challenges
· Ability to inspire counterparts in local markets & lead them towards excellence
· Able to lead & facilitate cross-functional workshops
· Agility to navigate in a matrix organization, to break silos with impact and influence
· Drive, can do attitude : ability to challenge the status quo and engage high level stakeholders
