C&P Indirects Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

The C&P Indirects Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing valuable relationships with our suppliers and our third-party manufacturers whilst seeking out opportunity to continuously improve the ways in which we partner with suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

·  Manage the relationship with around 40 existing suppliers and our third-party manufacturers, ensuring that Danone is receiving the best service at a competitive price
·  Sourcing new suppliers as well as benchmarking existing suppliers and negotiating prices and terms of service
·  Work towards company targets to reduce costs and spends spent with suppliers
·  Assess how our suppliers and third-party manufacturers operationally support the Danone business to make sure that they are the best supplier to be doing the job
·  Management of an annual budget

ABOUT YOU

An experienced C&P Manager, you will have strong negotiation skills whilst possessing the ability to develop strong working relationships with external suppliers and third-party manufacturers. You will be adaptable and able to work in an agile way to prioritise an ever-changing workload.

Ideally you will have:

·  3-5 years demonstrable experience working in a sourcing or procurement role
·  Knowledge of budget management, effective cost control and contract negotiation
·  Strong negotiation skills
·  Experience managing third-party manufacturers is desirable
·  Influencing experience, working closely with internal cross functional teams as well as external stakeholders
·  Project management experience
