Internship - Fabric Coordination Assistant – (M/F/X)

Job description

Internship based in Paris, Fashion division HQ, starting as soon as possible.

Two Haute Couture collections, six seasonal Ready-to-Wear and accessories collections and two sportswear and lifestyle-inspired capsule collections - Coco Beach and Coco Neige - offer a style that captures the spirit of the times and is part of women's everyday lives. WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL 

 

In the Design Studio, you will work with the Fabric team to support the development of fabrics for all our collections, Ready-to-Wear, Couture, Métiers d’art, and capsules. Your main missions will be the following:

To manage fabric cards and coordinate details with the development and buying teams 

 

· 
To oversee colour card development in collaboration with the product developer 

 

· 
To prepare colour combinations using Photoshop and communicate with colour labs for lab dips and references 

 

· 
To organize and track outgoing shipments and handle incoming shipment openings 

 

· 
To maintain the fabric archive and coordinate returns as needed 

 

· 
To manage the “Coupe type” rail and ensure accurate organization 

 

· 
To research relevant images and colour inspirations for seasonal direction 

 

· 
To build presentation and inspiration boards for internal and external use 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Your BA/MA degree in Fashion Design. 

 

· 
Your proactivity, good energy and eager to learn more. 

 

· 
Your strong organizational skills and your attention to detail. 

 

· 
Your confidence to ask questions and you ability to help on multiple types of takes. 

 

· 
Your fabric and textile sensitivity. 

 

· 
Your proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. 

 

· 
You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
