INTERSHIP EVENT ASSISTANT - EXPORT TRAVEL RETAIL EMEA

Job description

The Export Local Markets & Travel Retail EMEA team oversees the distribution of Fragrance & Beauty products in 30+ local markets and across most airports in Europe, Africa & the Middle East.

As part of the Learning Export team , you’ll be attached to the Event Project Manager and will support her in the organization of several learning events.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

·  Creating the Roadbook for each event: summary of all the steps, objectives and elements necessary for the smooth running of the event
·  Developing presentation materials in consultation with the Training Manager
·  Being the privileged contact of the Training Manager for the deployment of Learning workshops
·  Designing and updating various databases related to the CHANEL Travel Retail services involved in events
·  Being the coordinator for your team with the service provider agency in charge of transport, purchase orders and decoration for each event
·  Ensuring the logistical management of events: group management and setting up of workshops, plenary sessions and evenings
·  Carrying out follow up on quantitative and qualitative feedback
·  Conducting comparative market studies on the different proposals for hotels, restaurants, caterer
·  Demonstrating creativity in the creation of content within events

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

·  You are a student attending a Business School or a Master specialized in event/communication & you have a first experience in event planning
·  You can leverage on interpersonal & organizational skills as well as your rigor and ability to adapt to various environments and stakeholders
·  You are fluent in English (written & spoken)

This position based in Paris is to be filled on a 6 month-long internship contract from September 2024 to February 2025.
