Job description

The digitalization of our business model has strongly accelerated . For all divisions, digital platforms have become important to keep-up a steady contact between clients and our brand. Particularly, for Fragrance & Beauty, e-business has become the ultimate growth driver. All divisions developed omni-channel client journeys which connect physical and digital client touchpoints for a great client experience.
Part of the Europe Regional Digital teams and attached to the Client data Office department , you will actively participate in the quality and consistence of our data. Your role is to ensure data quality standards and conduct thorough testing of data pipelines across various touchpoints.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

Requests treatment

·  Treat and manage requests (import, modification, merge) from markets & divisions
·  Merge duplicates in EU Database to keep one single golden record per client
·  Resolve issues reported by markets / divisions
·  Give best practices for markets / divisions
·  Optimize the processes related to requests

Anonymization process

·  Treat the anonymization requests to guarantee the deletion of data in EU DB
·  Work on process optimization with Global & Legal teams
·  Work on process automatization with IT teams

Data quality

·  Implement Data Quality Dashboard
·  Monitor Data Quality with markets animation
·  Manage action plans with markets & IT to increase Data Quality in EU Database
·  Work with DC team to implement a flow monitoring between EU systems (Pioneer, Salesforce, CARAT) and ensure integrity & consistency of data

Testing

·  Work on testing strategy elaboration for EU Database
·  Run the Business tests
·  Give a Go / No-Go for Business side

Process

·  Optimize and formalize the Data Steward processes for Europe
·  Work on optimization of processes related to data collection / integration in Europe with markets / divisions / IT
·  Redefine processes linked to aggregates calculation (attachment, segmentation…) with CARAT team

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

·  Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
·  Proven experience in a data management, data stewardship, or data governance role
·  Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices
·  Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR
·  Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues
·  Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders
·  Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
