Watches & Fine Jewellery Stock & Logistics Assistant

Location: CHANEL Yorkdale Boutique, ON

Reports to: Operations Manager

Contract : Permanent, Full-time

Your role @ Chanel:

The Watches and Fine Jewellery (W&FJ) Stock & Logistics Assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions to assist the Operations Manager and W&FJ Team. They partner with the Fashion Operations Team and the W&FJ Head Office team to ensure all boutique operational functions related to Watches and Fine Jewellery are delivered to the highest standards in order to provide an impeccable client experience.

Customer Experience/Customer Relationship

· 
Maintain a strong client relationship by responding to all internal & external inquiries via telephone & email;

· 
Work hand-in-hand with WFJ Boutique Management, WFJ Sales Specialists as an integral member of the WFJ team;

· 
Collaboration regularly with all Fashion Team members is also key;

· 
Support the boutique sales floor as needed, welcome clients, art of wrapping, aftersales follow up, present new collections;

· 
Consistently provide the highest level of customer service and support to clients/colleagues.

Heart of House Operations

Quality Assurance

· 
Lead the Quality Control, inspection, reporting on issues of all merchandise (core and High-End) coming into Canada.

Inventory Management

· 
Assist with the inventory management process including Cycle counts, price changes, reticketing, Year-End Inventory;

· 
Maintain inventory integrity by proactively managing shrink

· 
Lead and execute the process of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.

· 
Ensuring proper documentation and procedures for international deliveries (B13A’s, Proformas, Brinks deliveries etc).

· 
Lead on all domestic allocations/transfers from Yorkdale to other boutiques.

· 
Be knowledgeable in regard to the Chanel et Moi program, and an expert in W&FJ After-Sales

· 
Communicate with clients the W&FJ team, and the W&FJ Operations Manager Canada as needed on repairs;

· 
Support with FJ Cleanings/Watch sizing while using the utmost care and precision;

· 
Support with the spare part/accessories orders according to guidelines.

· 
Maintain document retention as per the guidelines;

· 
Oversee and ensure compliance of Customer Owned Goods, International deliveries, Consignment, Personal Shopping guidance. Be an expert on Chanel Boutique Standard Operating Procedures while also implementing the W&FJ procedures;

· 
Ensure an adequate stock of boutique supplies, packaging, W&FJ tools, VM Materials in conjunction with VM team) and order as necessary;

· 
Inspect and maintain a clean and well-organized boutique/Safe-area regularly, this includes boutique & heart of house. Partner with Boutique Management as required; 

· 
Respond to Inter-Boutique Transfer requests in a timely manner using the appropriate tools ;

· 
Create, maintain and manage Boutique invoices through our internal COUPA system.

Personal Presentation/Image

· 
Adhere at all times to dress code, grooming and conduct guidelines as specified within the CHANEL Charter.

What you will bring to the role:

· 
Minimum 3-5 years in retail operations and/or stock experience (experience with W&FJ is an asset);

· 
Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving; 

· 
Knowledge and/or passion for watches & gemstones ;

· 
Customer experience oriented; 

· 
Detail oriented; excellent organizational skills; 

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 

· 
Comfortable working with different departments and teams; 

· 
Ability to lift approximately 15-20lbs ;

· 
Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends and holidays;

· 
Heart of House: Requires in-store presence to facilitate the opening and closing of the boutique; the receiving/shipping of inventory; to support sales to ensure optimal client service; 

· 
Fluent English, French is a plus.
