Position: Workday Business Application Analyst

Main location: Bangalore & Chennai
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We’re looking for a Workday Business Application Analyst to join our team in Bangalore / Chennai.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Workday Configuration & Support
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, including business processes and security frameworks
Manage organizational structures such as Supervisory Orgs, Cost Centers, Locations, and Custom Orgs
Execute EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) loads, ranging from simple to complex data updates
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance within the Workday system
2. Incident & Ticket Management
Handle and resolve tickets through tools like JIRA / ServiceNow within defined SLAs
Create, track, and manage stories/tasks in JIRA
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
3. Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain standard and custom Workday reports
Support business users with data insights and reporting requirements
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports
4. Integration Monitoring
Monitor upstream and downstream integrations to ensure smooth data flow
Identify and resolve integration issues proactively
Coordinate with integration teams for enhancements and fixes
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements
Translate business needs into system configurations and solutions
Provide functional support and guidance to end users

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3–7 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM
Strong experience in Core HCM, Business Process Framework, and Security configuration
Experience with EIB loads and Workday reporting
Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow
Workday HCM functional expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Stakeholder and communication skills
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work in Agile or fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Certifications (HCM, Compensation, Security)
Experience working in Agile Pods or Scrum teams
Exposure to HR systems, integrations, and process automation
