Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Selenium automation using Java or Python, test framework development, CI/CD integration, and version control practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
. Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python or Java.
. Develop and execute test cases using PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest.
. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
. Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
. Maintain test repositories using Git/GitHub.
. Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
. Collaborate with cross functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
. Generate test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have skills:
. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
. 1 3 years of professional experience in Automation Testing.
. Strong hands-on expertise with: Selenium WebDriver Java or Python (OOP concepts, scripting, framework development) PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest
. Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git and GitHub.
. Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
. Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
. Experience in API testing and automation is an added advantage.
. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

. Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
. Experience with TestNG (for Java based automation).
. Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
. Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
