Product Analyst – Commercial / Logistics & Transportation

Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Product Analyst to act as the key liaison between business users, Business Analysts, product development teams, software vendors, and internal technical teams.This role requires a strong combination of business understanding and technical acumen. The Product Analyst will not be expected to develop or code applications but must have sufficient knowledge of software and application environments to effectively translate business needs into actionable requirements, assess technical feasibility, and facilitate discussions between business and technology stakeholders.The successful candidate will have experience in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and will support business users and technology teams across Canada and the United States while collaborating with global teams, including Singapore.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact (POC) for business users in Canada and the United States.
Serve as the bridge between business users, internal Business Analysts, product teams, software vendors, and technical teams.
Review and assess business requirements prepared by internal Business Analysts.
Translate business needs into clear requirements and considerations for technical and digital teams.
Evaluate the technical feasibility and viability of proposed initiatives and solutions.
Coordinate activities between Commercial technology teams and business stakeholders.
Support the ongoing operation of applications and help ensure Business as Usual (BAU) continuity.
Ensure that solutions developed by digital and technical teams are aligned with business requirements and operational expectations.
Facilitate discussions, issue resolution, prioritization, and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups.
Develop a strong understanding of the applications and digital solutions supporting Commercial and logistics processes.
Collaborate with international stakeholders, particularly teams located in Singapore.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Key Competencies
Business / Functional
Experience in at least one of the following areas is required: Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
Ability to understand business processes and translate operational requirements into technology related needs.
Experience working directly with business users and cross functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Technology
Good understanding of enterprise software, business applications, and digital solutions.
Previous experience managing, coordinating, implementing, supporting, or developing applications.
Ability to discuss application architecture, integrations, data flows, functional requirements, and technical constraints with technology teams.
Ability to assess technical feasibility without necessarily being a hands on developer.
Experience working with software vendors and/or internal development teams is an asset.
This is not a software development role. Coding experience is not required.

The ideal candidate combines a business oriented mindset with strong technology awareness. The role is particularly suited to someone who can operate effectively at the intersection of business operations and technology and who is comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
Potential backgrounds could include: Product Analyst / Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Application Analyst, Functional Analyst, Business Analyst with strong application/technology exposure, Application/Product Coordinator with Logistics or Supply Chain expertise
Language Requirements
English: Required – professional working proficiency
French: Strongly preferred
Work Arrangement & Availability
Collaboration with teams in Canada, the United States, and Singapore
Candidate must be comfortable attending late evening meetings with Singapore approximately twice per week
• CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. This range is determined by various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are based on the specifics of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $105,000. This position is open.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
