Job Summary:
• We are looking for a QE Engineer – Level 2 (3 to 6 Years) with strong experience in test automation, Salesforce testing, API and backend validation, and Agile delivery.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium with Cucumber, experience validating Salesforce workflows and permission models, and a proven track record of managing test artifacts using Jira Xray.
• You will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure high-quality, stable, and release-ready solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation & Framework Development
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber (BDD)
• Create reusable test components and shared libraries to improve test coverage and execution efficiency
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines wherever applicable
• Analyze automation results, identify failures, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues

Salesforce Testing
• Perform testing of Salesforce applications with a focus on workflows, automation rules, and permission models
• Validate role-based access, profiles, permission sets, and sharing behaviour
• Support testing of custom Salesforce configurations and declarative automation

API, Database & Backend Testing
• Conduct API testing using Postman for REST-based services
• Validate request/response payloads, status codes, and error handling
• Perform SQL queries to validate backend data consistency and integration outcomes
• Support testing of system integrations and data flows across upstream and downstream systems

Test Management & Quality Assurance
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with business requirements
• Execute and track functional, regression, and system testing cycles
• Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
• Manage test execution and reporting using Jira Xray

Agile Collaboration
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts during the SDLC
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Provide accurate testing estimates and proactively identify quality risks during sprint execution

Release & Production Readiness
• Support regression testing, release validation, and pre-production sign-off
• Assist with smoke testing and post-deployment verification in production environments
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies and quality metrics

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Salesforce testing experience with focus on workflows, approvals, and permissions
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Strong knowledge of SQL for backend data validation
• Hands-on experience with Jira Xray for test management
