Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building and managing scalable data pipelines and high-performance data solutions. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain reliable data architectures that support business needs and enable data-driven decision-making.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Data Engineer to join the Event Streaming and Data Replication platform. We are a diverse, open, and transparent community where you will contribute to powering the next generation of Fidelity’s digital services through innovative solutions using the latest cloud native technologies and innovative engineering practices.
Must have
• Proven experience with Airflow, Spark, and Kubernetes
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Working understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Azure)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CFT or ARM for platform engineering.
• Solid grasp of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying containerized applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS.
• Expertise and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins.
• Experience with configuring alerts and monitors to create a highly available platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with evolving requirements.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
Good to have
• Dev-Assist tool experience (copilot)
• API integration experience is a plus.
• Certification in public cloud (Azure or AWS)
• Typescript programming is a plus.
