Test Engineer

Position Description
We're looking for Test Engineers experienced working with Canadian Securities Trading and Settlement systems to join us working with our a Large Canadian Banking clients!

Required Level of Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Business OR Diploma in IT and/or Business with equivalent IT experience

Required Experience:
• 5+ years of testing experience
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge and expertise with Canadian Securities Trading
• Knowledge and expertise testing applications handling trading of the following: Equities, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income (Bonds, Coupons, GIC)
• Knowledge and expertise with Forex

Nice to Have:
• 3-5 years working experience with Micro Focus UFT
• 3-5 years working experience with industry standard test management tools (ex. JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, etc.)
• ISTQB Certified Foundation Level (and/or other industry recognized testing certifications)
• Working experience with accessibility testing and tools (ex. JAWS, etc.)
• Experience working with industry standard mobile test tools (ex. Perfecto, Appium, etc.)
• Working experience with industry standard API automation test tools (ex. Smartbear SoapUI, REST-Assured, ParaSoft SOATest, etc.)
• Working experience with continuous testing and CI/CD facilitating tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge on Relational Database (RDBMS) concepts and advanced SQL
• Knowledge or experience testing Fidessa, FundServ, International trading
• Experience with model-based tools such as ConformIQ
