Job description
Position Description:
M365 Platform Administration:
• Manage and configure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other associated tools.
• Oversee user account management, licenses, and permissions within Microsoft 365.
User and Group Management:
• Administer Active Directory synchronization with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
• Create and manage user profiles, groups, and roles, ensuring compliance with security and organizational standards.
Security & Compliance:
• Configure and monitor Microsoft 365 security and compliance features, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Defender, and compliance center policies.
• Implement and manage Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and secure collaboration practices.
Collaboration Tools Support:
• Manage the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Teams, including channels, permissions, and integrations with third-party applications.
• Support users in SharePoint and OneDrive, ensuring effective document management, file sharing, and version control.
Email & Communication:
• Manage Exchange Online for seamless email delivery, including policies for archiving, retention, and security.
• Implement email flow rules, security filters, and troubleshoot issues related to email delivery and access.
M365 Troubleshooting & Support:
• Provide technical support for M365 services, diagnosing and resolving issues related to user accounts, permissions, and service disruptions.
• Monitor service health and proactively address potential problems within the M365 environment.
Automation & Power Platform:
• Leverage tools such as Power Automate and PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks, workflows, and reporting.
• Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI for reporting and process improvement.
Training & Documentation:
• Develop training materials and conduct user training on M365 tools, ensuring end-users are proficient with collaboration tools and productivity software.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on M365 configurations, security settings, and troubleshooting procedures.
Migration and Upgrades:
• Assist with M365 migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to Microsoft 365 environments.
• Plan and manage updates, patches, and version upgrades within the M365 platform.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor usage metrics, system performance, and security health across M365 services.
• Provide regular reports on the status of M365 services, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
