Your role in our team
As a Director Consulting Services (DCS), you are fully responsible for your manufacturing clients, your team, and the operations. It is a highly enjoyable, broad, and challenging role with great responsibilities and plenty of opportunities. We entrust you with leading part of the business. The organization is highly client-focused, where customer satisfaction and project success are essential factors for personal growth. You are responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with our manufacturing clients. Our clients face challenges in sustainability, efficiency and OT Security, digitalization, IT and OT convergence, managing a mix of modern and legacy technologies, and a significant shortage of skilled personnel.
You play a leading role in the business development activities for your clients. You are able to translate the innovative potential of IT and industrial automation into concrete business opportunities and identify chances that align with our portfolio. You are responsible for the successful execution of the resulting projects and ensure the quality of the delivered services with the goal of achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
You take ownership of projects in front of your clients and also dedicate 50% of your time to a “client assignment”.

You lead a team of 10 to 15 CGI consultants and are an active member of this team yourself. You recruit new talent, foster the professional development of your team members, and ensure employee satisfaction. The DCS is a true team player who, together with the VP Consulting Services and other colleagues, participates in business development and delivery initiatives, sharing industry knowledge and vision with peers. You will become part of the Manufacturing Unit, where you are supported by other DCSs and their teams and, in turn, help other teams succeed.

How you strengthen our team
The role of DCS is highly diverse and challenging, ideal for a driven professional who is ready to broaden their scope of work. With solid experience as a consultant in a corporate environment and a relevant network in the Manufacturing sector, you know how to creatively make this role a success.

In addition, you have:
• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical field;
• Demonstrable knowledge in the area of manufacturing and/or operational technology;
• Experience in business development, sales, and delivery;
• Experience with contracts and financial management;
• Experience in leading and coaching teams of 10–15 employees;
• The ability to support clients together with your team through strong content expertise;
• Native Dutch or French with excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written;
• A team player who easily gains support for ideas from others;
• A self-starter with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.
