CGI, one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms worldwide, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Analyst for our growing organization. This opportunity will be in one of our onshore delivery centers. The candidate will join a dynamic team planning and executing a significant Atlas360 upgrade, including analysis, design, testing, and training. Potential growth paths include senior subject matter expert/senior consultant, among other possible opportunities.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA, Lebanon, VA, Belton, TX office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to join our CGI Atlas360 team and support our clients
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Atlas products
• Develop test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Detect, document, and report software failures
• Ability to analyze business and system requirements and develop test plans to help with testing
• Participate in Agile scrum meetings: planning, daily standup, project status, iteration review, and retrospective meetings
• Ability to operate cross-functionally throughout the team, including technical and functional teams to test systems and reports to ensure smooth development and delivery of releases
• Ability to perform Regression and End to End testing to ensure the system meets clients' requirements
• Ability to use SQL to retrieve the data from the database to perform data validations and testing
• Ability to Collaborate with team throughout the release process
• Demonstrate critical thinking to analyze issues, evaluate solutions, and ask clarifying questions
• Work on continuous improvements of the software QA process

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Prior experience with software product QA testing
• Self-motivated, independent and enterprising
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Expertise in the analysis and documentation of business processes
• Expertise in the analysis and troubleshooting of problems
• Experience in documenting defects and test results
• Experience in the creation of test plans, test cases, and other technical documents as assigned
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience using QA automation tools and writing test scripts
• Exposure to concepts of Performance & Load Testing
• QA certification or related training
• Direct experience with Agile software development project

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $54,200.00 - $133,500.00.
