Data Quality Engineering Specialist

Position Description:

Here is a summary of technical skills for Data QE. The other key thing is that the person needs to be independent and be able to coordinate / work with onshore business and dev team. We can talk more about the specific areas within Data that these people will need to work on
Experience in data ingestion, ETL testing, data integrity testing and Cloud testing
Experience with Cloud data platform (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure as optional)
Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Python/Pyspark and any data platform
Knowledge on Airflow DAG, Cloud composer, Looker studio or similar
Strong ability to analyze the business and user requirements and translate them into testing deliverables such as testing data, SQL query and validate expected results.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different stake holders.
Working knowledge on JIRA, Confluence and test management tools like Zephyr is mandatory.
Experience in insurance domain will be an added advantage
Experience of Agile software development practice and methodologies
