Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the bid process using the Shipley methodology, ensuring the development of winning strategies that align with client needs.
• Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions to define win themes and value propositions.
• Apply knowledge from Shipley CP4SW and WWP training courses to guide teams through a structured bid process.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and delivery teams, to craft tailored client solutions.
• Integrate both traditional AI and generative AI technologies into proposals, highlighting innovation and value.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among disparate teams and personalities, driving them towards a unified goal.
• Provide commercial insights and ensure all bids are commercially viable and aligned with business objectives.
• Lead proposal development, ensuring compliance, completeness, and high-quality submissions.
• Work alongside the IP&I team to introduce new and innovative technologies into client offerings.
• Track and report on bid progress, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership..
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Demonstrable leadership of the Shipley process leading to successful win strategies.
• Experience of commercial sales processes, methodologies and tools used to qualify and win opportunities. These might include SPIN, Challenger Sale, MEDDIC, Solution Selling, Target Account Selling, Miller Heiman, etc.
• Experience of successfully operating as part of a team of consultants comprising multiple disciplines, seniorities and personalities.
• Ability to create high quality deliverables through excellent written and presentation skills.
• Credible presence in front of senior audience with an aptitude to influence leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships BU members (and potentially clients) to understand requirements and how these can be met through innovative ‘big picture’ thinking that challenges the status quo and how we can meet client goals.
• Experience of a broad range of software technologies.

• Ability to work under pressure when necessary to provide outputs that achieve agreed quality standards when required.
• Well-organised with the ability to marshal the resources required to achieve a project or task.
