Senior Software Engineer - .NET

Job description

Position Description:

• Good knowledge in SOAP services. How to maintain old and newer service endpoints as most of the applications Digitools oversees still uses SOAP services.
• Advanced knowledge in .NET Frameworks as well as .NET core
• Good knowledge in .NET MVC
• Advanced knowledge in web development Javascript
• Advanced knowledge in designing, creating and maintaining REST APIs Knowledge how to create minimalAPIs using .NET core as well as maintaining control-based APIs in .NET. Knowledge in Authorize/Authenticate concepts. useful to know how OAuth2, JWT-token authentication works.
• Good knowledge in application design and structure best practises overall and practises used in the applications already to keep it in line to not cause issues.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines especially Jenkins as that is what is mostly used currently in Digitools.
• Knowledge in SQL Server DB:s
• Advanced knowledge in application development lifetime Feature creation in JIRA. Branch and git management. Code reviews and PR creation with tags when needed.
• Advanced skills in problem solving and independent work as most of our features and development tasks as well as maintenance is independently worked on per developer.
• Good knowledge in an international team and multilingual codebase (most application contains Finnish, Swedish and English)

Good knowledge of log management
