Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems.
. Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance.
. Develop and manage data models to support analytics, reporting, and KPI dashboards.
. Enable business intelligence and reporting using tools such as Power BI and enterprise data platforms.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Analytics, Finance, and IT to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
. Support sales, operations, and leadership teams by providing actionable insights through data analysis and dashboards.
. Ensure compliance with CGI's data governance, security, and operational management frameworks.
. Drive continuous improvement by adopting modern data engineering practices, tools, and technologies.
. Support ad-hoc analysis, special initiatives, and strategic projects as required.

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

 

. 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably in the IT services or enterprise environment.
. Strong experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
. Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred).
. Proficiency in ETL tools, scripting languages (Python/SQL), and data integration frameworks.
. Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools for dashboarding and reporting.
. Good understanding of data governance, data quality, and security practices.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
. Ability to work across functions and geographies in a fast-paced environment.
