Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs using Apigee (Edge / X / Hybrid)
Build and support integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
Develop message flows using protocols such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, MQ, JMS, FTP/SFTP
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and API keys
Design mediation, transformation, and routing logic using ESQL, Java, or ACE graphical flows
Integrate enterprise systems including databases, SaaS applications, and legacy systems
Monitor API performance and analytics; troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to define integration solutions
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIs and integration flows

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Apigee (API proxies, policies, analytics, monetization, fault handling)
Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE v11/v12)
Proficiency in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT
Experience with ESQL and/or Java for integration development
Familiarity with message brokers, especially IBM MQ and asynchronous messaging patterns
Understanding of API lifecycle management
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and deployment automation
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X deployments
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Prometheus)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices patterns
Exposure to security standards and compliance (e.g., OWASP, Zero Trust)
