Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement / Strategic Alliances Partner to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing and purchasing software and services for the organization while building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will support procurement operations, vendor management, and order fulfillment while ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing policies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
• Maintain and update a list of approved vendors for software and services.
• Assist in onboarding new vendors and renewing existing vendor relationships according to corporate procurement guidelines.
• Communicate with vendors to gather quotes, request proposals, and negotiate pricing and terms.
Procurement Operations
• Place orders for software and services using corporate procurement systems and supporting tools.
• Process purchase orders and ensure adherence to internal purchasing policies.
• Assist in reviewing software and service agreements to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
Order Management
• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve order issues and delays.
Cross-Functional Support
• Support Business Development and Sales Pricing teams in obtaining vendor quotes and placing orders to support customer-facing activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled efficiently and cost-effectively.
Reporting and Analysis
• Assist in generating procurement reports, including spend analysis and vendor performance.
• Provide insights into procurement expenses and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• Experience working with procurement systems or corporate purchasing tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira or similar workflow management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Good-to-Have Skills
• Ability to work flexible hours with some overlap with US business hours to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
