We are both major contributors to, and act as thought leaders in, a number of key European space initiatives including the Copernicus and Galileo programmes, designing and developing cutting edge solutions for our clients.
The European Space market is dynamic, evolving and rapidly growing. CGI is now looking to further expand our business in this area, building on our 40 year successful heritage.
If you would like to be part of this, then join us and support our project teams in the SPACE division as a Senior Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d).
You will become part of a multinational team ensuring the integration and verification of the ground control and payload processing system for a satellite mission. You will support your more junior colleagues and, potentially, you may take over the lead of a small team.
Eventually, you will keep your fingers crossed while watching the live stream of the satellite launch together with the rest of the satellite mission team!
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Based on Test Specifications and the limitations of the current component versions to be tested, you will together with your team develop Test Procedures to cover Integration Testing and Verification Testing. You raise concerns where the required tests don’t seem feasible and seek a solution together with experts within the team and the client’s organization. You maintain a network within the wider project team to ensure all information needed by your team is available. You have an eye on the lifetime effort and suggest technologies and processes that ease the work of the team. After agreement with the Project Manager you take ownership of the implementation.
Specifically, your area of activities include the following tasks:
• Integration Testing
• Verification Testing
• Supervising Test Procedure Development and formal Test Execution
• Formal Reporting of Results to the Verification Control Team

In addition to the technical know-how you are characterized by your social competencies. You enjoy team-oriented work, bring excellent communication skills and an analytical mind.
