Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hyland OnBase Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OnBase configuration, integration, and solution support, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimize OnBase solutions that address complex business and technical requirements.
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead solution delivery, ensure system reliability in production environments, and provide technical guidance to both clients and junior team members.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Hyland OnBase solutions across diverse business domains.
• Perform system integrations using OnBase APIs, Unity scripting, and third-party platforms (ERP, CRM, workflow automation tools).
• Manage OnBase administration, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability of OnBase environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and support procedures.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices and governance frameworks for OnBase delivery.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Hyland OnBase configuration, administration, and solution design.
• Strong knowledge of workflow design, document management, and records retention.
• Proven experience integrating OnBase with external systems via API, web services, or middleware.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and performance optimization in enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Hyland certifications (OCI, OCSA, OCWA, OCAW) strongly preferred.
• Experience with OnBase in the Cloud and exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
• Prior consulting experience with enterprise clients or public sector organizations is desirable.
Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills
• Proficiency in Java-based frameworks: Spring, Hibernate.
• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Good-to-Have Skills
• Proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and scripting for customization and automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Understanding of machine learning/AI technologies.
