Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Senior Angular Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. 

Your future duties and responsibilities:

​We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Angular Developer with a strong background in JavaScript and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building responsive, scalable, and secure web applications using modern front-end frameworks and cloud-native technologies. You will play a key role in designing and implementing user interfaces, integrating with backend services, and deploying applications in the AWS ecosystem.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 7+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular and JavaScript.
. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
. Experience building and deploying web applications on AWS Cloud.
. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and Cognito.
. Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or GitLab CI/CD.
. Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitLab.
. Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
. Familiarity with serverless architectures and deploying front-end applications in a serverless environment.
. Strong understanding of security best practices in front-end development.
. Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives).
. Ability to collaborate with backend developers, UX designers, and product owners to deliver high-quality features.
. Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of front-end applications.
. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $121,900.00.
