QA Orchestrade
Montréal, CANADA
Job description
Position Description:
Mission
The quality of our production deliveries is a key priority and a core part of our daily focus.
The team operates at the center of the process, at the crossroads between various groups — business analysts, developers, architects, and end users from the Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk departments.
A significant part of our work is not directly related to QA itself but revolves around communication and coordination between the Orchestrade teams, IT contributors from other applications, and our users, in order to advance and validate ongoing releases and non-regression tests.
Another part of our work involves designing and implementing improvements to our testing framework and tools.
Our scope of intervention is broad, within a very positive and collaborative work environment. This mission represents a real challenge, with a wide variety of tasks — the only limit will be the one the consultant sets for themselves.
In partnership with the Software Quality Manager, the assignment will aim to:
- Execute and monitor test campaigns.
- Improve non-regression coverage on the overnight batch chain.
- Improve the processing and analysis of test reports.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Expand and automate the test scope.
- Set up and maintain the test repository (Microsoft Azure / TFS tools).
- Draft specifications for tools supporting test automation (UI C# DevExpress, XML flows, SQL).
- Analyze and track results for each test campaign.
- Produce the necessary reports to support Go/No-Go release decisions (defect classification and impact assessment).
- Communicate with Delivery teams, Front Office / Middle Office / Risk users, IT contributors, and Product Owners.
Skills
- Functional knowledge of vanilla, optional, and exotic rate products.
- Strong understanding of QA practices and market tools for industrialized testing (UI, data flows, SQL, batch, services).
- Experience with Orchestrade would be an advantage, though experience with an equivalent trading application is mandatory.
- English fluency is essential for effective communication and reporting with teams.
