Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, or related field with relevant SAP experience.

Position Description:

We are looking for a skilled SAP FI Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in configuration and implementation of SAP Financial Accounting modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. The role involves configuration, integration, testing, and production support in SAP FI environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

Perform end-to-end configuration based on business requirements.

Work on business process analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.

Handle integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and CO.

Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.

Support testing activities including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT.

Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA timelines.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration.

Good knowledge of New GL / S/4HANA Finance (preferred).

Experience with Automatic Payment Program (APP) and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS).

Knowledge of tax configuration.

Understanding of SAP FI integration with MM/SD modules.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience working in S/4HANA environments.

Exposure to SAP Fiori applications.

Knowledge of GST / local taxation (India).

SAP FI Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience with interfaces and IDocs.

Strong documentation skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
