Job Summary
Lead the design, build, and deployment of scalable data products on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
Ensure data governance, security, and performance optimization across workloads.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Development
. Design and implement Lakehouse architecture aligned with business workloads.
. Build event-driven data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and PySpark.
. Integrate Databricks with AWS/Azure services (S3, Redshift, Synapse, etc.).
Platform Administration
. Manage and configure workspaces, clusters, SQL Warehouses, and jobs.
. Implement and administer Unity Catalog for metadata, lineage, and access control.
. Optimize cluster policies, auto-scaling, and cost management.
Governance & Security
. Define and enforce data governance policies.
. Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance standards.
DevOps & Reliability
. Set up CI/CD pipelines for notebooks, jobs, and Delta Live Tables.
. Monitor workspace performance, cluster stability, and job reliability.
Collaboration & Leadership
. Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
. Provide technical guidance and best practices for Databricks adoption.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Skills & Experience
. Core Skills: Databricks Admin, Delta Lake, PySpark, SQL, Python.
. Cloud Expertise: AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift) or Azure (Data Lake, Synapse).
. Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Power BI/Tableau for visualization.
. Experience: 6–10 years in Databricks platform administration.
. Soft Skills: Problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and leadership.
• Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
