Your future duties and responsibilities:

As an SAP BTP Consultant, you will play a key role in our deliveries to clients across various industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution. Your responsibilities will include:
• Design and develop applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment)
• Build side-by-side extensions using CAP and in-app extensions using ABAP (RAP)
• Develop and enhance backend logic using ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services
• Work with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for modern service development
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, APIs, Event Mesh)
• Develop and customize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
• Work with SAP HANA Cloud for data modeling and persistence
• Ensure clean core principles by decoupling custom logic from S/4HANA
• Handle authentication, authorization, and security (IAS, OAuth, XSUAA)
• Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across BTP and ABAP stack

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 4+ years of experience in SAP development
• Exposure to SAP Build, Workflow, or Automation tools
• Knowledge of Clean Core strategy
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• ABAP (OO ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, OData)
• SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, ABAP Environment)
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Understanding of RESTful services and API-based architecture
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
