Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in a Data Warehouse environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across source systems and target databases.

 

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, source-to-target mapping documents, and data models.
• Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases and test scenarios.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Perform data quality checks, including completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
• Conduct source-to-target data validation and data migration testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve issues.
• Perform regression, integration, and system testing for ETL applications.
• Prepare test reports and provide testing status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practice

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• Strong knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, stored procedures).
• Experience in ETL testing and data validation techniques.
• Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, or SQL Server Integration Services.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Jira and HP ALM.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data marts.

Good to have Skills-

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
