Join this exciting new initiative as a Project Security Consultant.

The Project Security Consultant with Experience in the Principle of Least Privilege is responsible for managing the technical implementation of the project while ensuring that security best practices, particularly the principle of least privilege, are integrated into all aspects of the project. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and cybersecurity.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage technical and engineering projects from start to finish.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with the principle of least privilege, granting the minimum level of access necessary for users to perform their tasks.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and monitor security controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security vulnerabilities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and final project reports.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on security best practices and compliance requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on cybersecurity and the principle of least privilege.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SIEM, Splunk, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience with cybersecurity metrics and measurement frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
