Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Production Support – Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production support, monitoring, observability, incident management, root cause analysis, and deployment support. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple technologies and collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure application stability, reliability, and seamless production operations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

· Maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies for production applications.
· Utilize observability tools to proactively identify bottlenecks, anomalies, performance issues, and potential system failures before they impact customers.
· Drive deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical P1/P2 incidents.
· Work closely with development and architecture teams to identify permanent fixes and prevent recurrence of production issues.
· Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to support seamless application deployments and releases.
· Support blue/green deployments and canary releases to ensure seamless and zero-downtime transitions.
· Troubleshoot application and production issues across multiple technology platforms.
· Work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and maintain application availability and reliability.
· Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual support activities and improve system stability.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
· Strong experience in Production Support / Application Support.
· Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
· Strong understanding of AWS and cloud-based application environments.
· Experience with OpenShift and containerized application environments.
· Hands-on experience with Node.js, Java, and Python applications.
· Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
· Strong experience in monitoring, alerting, and observability.
· Experience in handling P1/P2 incidents and performing detailed Root Cause Analysis.
· Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps teams.
· Knowledge of deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
· Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
· Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
· Experience with automated health checks and remediation.
· Knowledge of SRE practices and principles.
· Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
· Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
· Experience with SQL and relational databases.
