Oracle DBA

Job description

Position Description:

6 to 8 years experience in Oracle DBA (mandatory), with preferably 2 years Postgres DBA experience (optional)
Responsible for managing all databases and DB servers of the project.
Ensure high availability of database and prevent issues
performance tuning of queries and database instances
Standard DBA activities such as creation of schemas/databases, grants, backup-recovery strategy, RAC, ASM, helping other teams when needed, research and implement new Oracle features/tools/technologies and other project specific DBA activities.
Alerts and monitoring
Investigate and resolve all incidents/issues
Act as a SPOC for all DB related tasks/issues during your shift. Discuss & Coordinate with Developers and Other teams as needed to provide next steps / solution on the issue/task as needed.
Part of rotational shifts and off hours on-call support
