Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Job Description:
• Network Monitoring:
o Use network monitoring tools to track uptime, latency, and packet loss for Fortnite servers and related infrastructure.
o Respond promptly to alerts and service requests.
• First-Level Troubleshooting:
o Diagnose basic connectivity issues (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP problems).
o Follow predefined scripts and escalation protocols for unresolved issues.
• Configuration Assistance:
o Assist in deploying and configuring network hardware/software under senior engineer guidance.
o Maintain accurate network documentation and schematics.
• Incident Management:
o Log incidents in ticketing systems and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
o Communicate status updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Routine Maintenance:
o Perform scheduled checks, apply patches, and verify network health.
o Support game updates and maintenance windows to minimize downtime.
• User Support:
o Provide basic technical assistance to internal teams and game operations staff.
o Help troubleshoot connectivity issues for live events or seasonal updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 gaming environment.

Preferred Certifications
• CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

Soft Skills
• Customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security).

Behavioural Competencies :
Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player
Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies
