Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience with Messaging and stream processing on Kafka
• Design and implement highly interactive, scalable web apps and prototypes. Build and modify high-performance APIs and programs (Java)
• Solid understanding of MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning, and aggregation framework
• Experience in building and optimizing complex MongoDB database solutions
• Knowledge of integrating MongoDB with various programming languages and frameworks
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug MongoDB issues efficiently
• In-depth hands-on work experience with implementations of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deploying container-based systems such as Docker or Kubernetes on private and public clouds
• Experience helping development teams build and deploy micro services-based applications in public cloud
• Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
