Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the client's foundational data architecture. In this role, you will be the technical engineer behind Microsoft Fabric environment, focusing on data ingestion, transformation, storage optimization, and continuous deployment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will design scalable data pipelines, manage OneLake environments, and partner closely with Business Analysts and the client to ensure high-quality, analytics-ready data is consistently delivered.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:
-Experience: 3+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience, with a strong background in Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse) and hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric.
-Microsoft Fabric Platform: Deep technical expertise with OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, and Fabric Data Factory.
-Programming Languages: High proficiency in PySpark (for complex data manipulation in notebooks) and T-SQL (for data warehousing scenarios). Working knowledge of KQL is highly advantageous.
-Source Control: Experience managing infrastructure and data code via Git and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
-Data Architecture: Strong understanding of the Medallion architecture paradigm, ETL/ELT patterns, and the underlying mechanics of Delta Parquet storage.
