Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
The member is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS in the MVS environment. They will analyze complex programs, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure system stability. The role involves understanding business requirements and providing optimal end-to-end technical solutions. The member will also perform unit testing, support deployments, and ensure quality deliverables. They are expected to work in an Agile environment, collaborate with business stakeholders, and communicate effectively. Additionally, they may contribute to integrations with APIs, microservices, or Java-based applications when required

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Must have skills:

. Hands on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities
. Proven problem-solving abilities and analysis of complex mainframe programs is a must skill.
. Must be experienced in maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
. Must have worked in Mainframe application development.
. Must be able to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management.
. Must have experience of working in an agile environment
. Ability to understand the requirements and come up with an optimal end-to-end solution
. Must possess strong analytical skills to review the production problems reported
. Able to do unit testing

Good to have

. Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP).

Knowledge in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
