Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & Data ETL Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing data integration and transformation solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Data services, ETL development, and hybrid data architectures, with the ability to build scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

. Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure data services
. Build and optimize data workflows and pipelines in Azure and hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
. Develop and manage data ingestion frameworks from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and flat files
. Work with Azure Databricks / Synapse Analytics for large-scale data processing and transformation
. Integrate on-premise data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, legacy systems) with Azure cloud using secure and efficient methods
. Implement data migration strategies from on-premise systems to Azure
. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for large datasets
. Ensure data quality, governance, and validation across pipelines
. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to understand data requirements
. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and failures
. Follow DevOps and CI/CD practices for deploying data solutions
. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

. 6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL Development
. Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Databricks and/or Azure Synapse Analytics SQL (advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing)
. Experience in building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines
. Solid experience working with on-premise databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2
. Experience in data migration and hybrid data integration (on-prem to Azure)
. Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and data warehousing concepts
. Good understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)
. Experience with scripting languages (Python / PySpark preferred)
. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
