Job Overview:
CGI We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3–6 years of experience in building scalable and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, CI/CD pipelines, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
• Build scalable microservices and integrate with external systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support cloud-native deployments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

• 3–6 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
